Vegan Tempeh Bolognese

This rich and meaty vegan bolognese sauce is prepared with scrambled tempeh, tomatoes, carrots, and celery.

It is thick, packed with flavor, and high in protein!

Main ingredients: tempeh, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, tomato paste, carrots, celery, vegetable stock, oregano and rosemary.

Scramble and sauté the tempeh until golden brown.

STEP 1

Sauté the garlic and onions until fragrant. Add the carrots and celery and cook for another few minutes.

STEP 2

Add all of the remaining ingredients and let it simmer for 30-45 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

STEP 3

Serve this rustic sauce on top of pasta, or use it in lasagna or baked casseroles!
