Vegan Tteokbokki (Spicy Korean Rice Cakes)

This Korean-inspired dish consists of chewy rice cakes cooked in a sweet and spicy Gochujang sauce.

It takes just 20 minutes to prepare and is insanely easy!

Main ingredients: rice cakes (garaetteok), gochujang, Korean chili powder, soy sauce, vegan sausages, and fried tofu pouches.

Prepare the sauce.

STEP 1

Add the sauce and the rice cakes to a large non-stick skillet. Cover with water and simmer for about 8 minutes.

STEP 2

Incorporate the add-ins and let simmer again or another 7-8 minutes.

STEP 3

Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds and enjoy!
