Easy Candied Ginger

Just 3 ingredients!

Ingredients: fresh ginger root, sugar, salt.

STEP 1

Cut the ginger into thin slices and coat with salt. Let sit 30 minutes and rinse.

STEP 2

Boil for 5 minutes with half of a lime.

STEP 3

Drain and coat with sugar. Let sit overnight to create a syrup.

STEP 4

Transfer the ginger and its syrup to a skillet and heat until no more syrup remains.

STEP 5

Keep stirring until the sugar crystallizes and coats the ginger slices.

Enjoy!
